Being: Glad That I Live
Synopsis

Have any of you given a thought to how much of the world is being taken over by artificial intelligence? What would the world look like if we were governed by a universal operating system that controlled everything we did, and determined who we ended up being? Set in the distant future, this production follows the explorations of RMO4N4 as she seeks out a musical refrain that arises from deep within, to discover who she truly is, and learning what she is made of.  And it all starts when she plucks her courage to take a chance on some (innocently) dodgey confectionary.

Being Glad that I Live is the opening concert of the school’s 120th anniversary held in conjunction with the Singapore Bicentennial. Celebrating the collaboration and talents of SCGS students, staff and alumnae, this whimsical, fantastical reimagining of an old tale is told with a distinctive SCGS flair.  Come, journey with us!
